USED Collings D1 G German Spruce Top! Like new!
|
|
Our Price: $3,300.00
|
|
|

LIKE NEW!!!!!!! The square-shouldered 14-fret dreadnought is the most popular
steel-string acoustic guitar body shape in the world. While Collings is
certainly not the only company to build them, they bring a new tonal
clarity to the depth and warmth usually associated with such a large,
deep-bodied guitar. Although its bass response makes the dreadnought
ideal for vocal accompaniment, Collings versions are also often
employed by bluegrass flatpickers who must compete with inherently
louder instruments such as banjos and fiddles. The wide range of woods
and neck sizes offered allow dreadnought fans to find a Collings model
ideally suited to their playing style and tonal preference.
Features Include:
- Select German spruce top
- Mahogany back & sides
- Tortoise-style binding
- Simple walnut backstrip
- Pre-war scalloped bracing
- Black/white wood nitrate strip rosette
- Tortoise-style pickguard
- High gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish
- Mahogany neck
- Ebony fingerboard and bridge
- Ebony peghead overlay
- Inlaid Collings Logo
- Inlaid dot fingerboard markers
- Fully adjustable truss rod
- Bone nut and drop-in saddle
- Ebony bridge pins and end pin
- Nickel Waverly tuners

Collings DS2H A - Adirondack!

|
Our Price: $3,850.00

|
|
|

Like New! The mighty DS2H! Nothing but nothing sounds like them. I like to think of them as a cannon with 6 strings! The back and sides are Indian rosewood, but man it looks like Brazilian! This is the original 12-fret dreadnought shape, first designed as an oversized Hawaiian guitar almost a century ago. Collings' retained the shape and wide neck with slotted headstock from that bygone era, but the DS models are thoroughly modern guitars with a unique sound all their own. The longer body, with the bridge closer to the center of the lower bout, delivers an open, airy tone with smoothness and warmth not typically found in modern, 14-fret dreadnoughts. Whether flatpicked or played fingerstyle, these guitars have lots of headroom and the wide dynamic range invites everything from mellow accompaniment to biting leads. What a knockout!!! Features Include: Select Adirondack Top 1 13/16 Nut Width East Indian rosewood back and sides Grained ivoroid binding Herringbone trim with matching backstrip Cross-cut grained ivoroid and wood nitrate strip rosette Pre-war scalloped bracing Tortoise-style pickguard High gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish Mahogany neck Slotted peghead with Rosewood overlay Inlaid Collings Logo Ebony fingerboard and belly bridge Traditional diamond and square fingerboard inlays Fully adjustable truss rod Bone nut and drop-in saddle Ebony bridge pins and end pin Nickel Waverly slot-head tuners

Santa Cruz - Tony Rice!
|
|
Our Price: $4,700.00
|
|
|

The Tony Rice Signature Custom Model represents
over 30 years of collaboration between the world’s foremost flatpicking
icon and SCGC’s founding luthier, Richard Hoover. Today’s model
incorporates decades of refinement in response to players’ demands and
the sophisticated evolution of the master’s technique. Never intended to
be a copy of Mr. Rice’s iconic 1935 Martin D-28, the TR Model is voiced
to showcase his stellar lead work with influences from Clarence White
to John Coltrane. This guitar delivers exactly what the contemporary
flatpicking artist needs: substantial treble and midrange for rapid
single-line lead, clean note separation for definition and the
traditional bass boom without the woofy bottom end of some of the
venerable Pre-war dreadnoughts. Master grade Indian Rosewood Back & Sides and a German Spruce Top give this instrument a professional presence at an
attainable price. Includes original Ameritage case.

Collings CJ Mh AV - USED- Adirondack - Varnish!
|
|
Our Price: $5,700.00
|
|
|

A classic beauty! The CJ is an amazing guitar. This one was born August 20, 2008. It looks brand new. The previous owner took immaculate care of this guitar. It is in better than superb condition. One of the great things about this guitar is that has already been broken in. If you've ever owned an "Adi" top guitar, you should know how important this is. The expensive ($2000.00) Varnish option on this guitar give the instrument a patina that looks like fine instruments from the turn of the 20th century. It will only sound an look better as time goes on. Additionally, the guitar also has a 1 3/4 nut width. Ladies and gentlemen, this guitar is a steal!
